Following on from the success of Pete McAllen's second EP The Optical Illusion, his latest offering Cosmic Politics is the first single from his planed forthcoming album. Cosmic Politics was written in frustration for a friend who was making some silly choices in their life, as Pete puts it "we live in a pick and choose culture, but the reality is some choices lead to big regrets." Along with his frustration, McAllen's social commentary belies his youth "dead me lie 'cos we couldn't care less. These battles are taking these innocent victims", showing a deep concern for society today.
Along with support slots for YFriday and The Steels, Pete's music and love of performing live has lead to airplay on BBC6 Music, Premier Radio and regional shows. McAllen also had great success over seas in Kenya and Poland, including a 20 gig tour in 2007, and appearing at a number of UK festivals.
